is the third largest county in the United States with a population of over three million people and is 1788 square miles in area.

Within Harris County:
  •
there are more than 50 operating Fire Departments, both Volunteer as well as paid, which need help in obtaining mutual aid agreements, training, and organization.

Vision Statement:
  •
The vision of the Harris County Fire Fighters Association is to provide the highest quality training and mutual aid system for the fire fighters, fire departments, and emergency medical services of our county. In providing the highest quality training and mutual aid systems, we will protect and preserve the integrity of our association and it’s individual departments. To accomplish the vision, we must look beyond our current association needs and look into the future. The future determines the needs of our fire fighters, fire departments, emergency medical services and citizens that we are protecting with dignity and pride. Let us move into the future with open minds, thus further stabilizing the Harris County Fire Fighters Association as the LEADER in our commitment to training and mutual aid.

Mission Statement:
  •
The mission of the Harris County Fire Fighters Association is to stand prepared to accomplish objectives that include training, mutual aid, political activity, county fire field and organizational issues. To accomplish these many objectives with quality, efficiency, effectiveness and professionalism will produce positive results.

To accomplish this mission of being prepared, we have to work together. Working together has many different ideas and methods that will meet the common objectives. Mutual aid and training, two common objectives, are the cornerstones of our organization. When our organization utlilizes our cornerstones, to the benefit of our communities we will have accomplished our mission.
